Emergency Fund!

Wow - It's been a little while since I posted. Okay. Time to catch up.

The emergency fund is funded with $1000. Now, I'll keep adding to it every paycheck and it will earn interest.

I've also paid down a considerable amount of debt. First, I got my property tax refund. That helped fund the emergency fund. And my car maintenance was not as much as I was quoted. So, I was able to put money towards my Line of Credit. Which I closed. And I was able to pay off the Christopher & Banks card. And close that account.

I was also able to secure a mortgage refinance on my house, bringing my interest rate down to 2.75% and lowering my payments $50 or so. That $50 will help every month. But, because I'm refinancing, I get to skip 2 mortgage payments for September and October. So THAT money started the snowball on the Wayfair account. Down to $548.87 on that account. It will for sure be paid off next month, if not this month. Depends on DoorDash.

DoorDash has been very good to me the past couple weeks. Over $200 each week. Half goes into a separate account for taxes. The other half went to fund this month's sinking fund accounts. Those are all funded, so now all DoorDash will go to Wayfair.

Laser focus, gazelle intensity and a big ol' debt snowball. The $15 minimum payment for the LOC loan is being rolled into the minimum payment for Wayfair. Next stop - dental bill. 6 accounts left to pay off, then I can start rolling all that money into the emergency fund for 3-6 months of expenses. I'm going to go with 6 months, just because. Then funding my retirement and starting to pay extra for my mortgage to get that paid off sooner rather than later.

But first - Wayfair. Tackle that debt and erase it from existence.
