Things are looking up. I'm only $730 short in my savings account right now. Yay! Every small victory is a victory. And after this week, I will have $144 in my SmartyPig account. I made $62.47 this week from DoorDash. Half went into the SmartyPig account and half went to bring my checking account up to the positive after paying bills. Yes, my bills for this pay period were more than I brought home, since I am no longer getting the $200 (Okay, $120 after taxes) every pay period. Sucks, but at least I still have a job and I still have a paycheck. Fingers crossed, but I hope to have my credit on my State Farm account in July. I thought it would hit in June, but it didn't. Supposedly State Farm was giving a credit for car insurance because of COVID, since people weren't driving as much. We'll see. More fingers crossed - July is when they start sending the refunds for the property taxes. Last year I got mine in August, but I'm hoping to get it earlier this year. Mor...

Oh, my savings keeps going down, down, down. I am $800 down in my savings account. That's money I need to put back. And, I will. First, I need to stop with the spending. I know that one of my weaknesses is that I spend money when I'm feeling depressed. And I'm depressed because my son is gone. But, I managed to build a beautiful craft room that I'm slowly bringing stuff back into. I've been selling some craft items, but I've also been spending that money. So, I need to stop. Tomorrow is the last day that I'm spending money that I'm not accounting for. I'm getting a manicure and pedicure to celebrate getting the craft room done. Hopefully I can stretch out this manicure 3 weeks, but I have accounted for it with the paycheck on Friday. I honestly can't wait to get back into a routine. I miss having a solid routine. And this routine will be all about me, and not include my son's activities. Which is both good and sad at the same time. But ha...

Oh wow. It's been a month since I updated. Okay, so I have still been paying bills. My debt total is down a little more. Haven't paid off the Christopher Banks card. I have $342.95 left on that one. Things have stalled a little in the debt paying. With COVID, I haven't been able to make it to the bank when people have paid me cash for my things. So, I've been using that money to pay for groceries to keep my grocery account with some money in it. Also, you'll notice that I no longer have $1000 in my savings account. That's because my son left for his dad's on Friday, and I'm on vacation. Using my vacation time to redo my craft room. New paint, new shelves. That all costs money and I'm glad I have it in my account. Still trying to sell stuff, though. Can't forget that. Maybe I should stop accepting cash and only accept FB messenger pay or Venmo. Then the money goes into my checking account and I can put it in the savings right away. Or I coul...
