Milestones this week! So, yesterday, just for the fun of it, I decided to check out my credit score. It went up again! Happy Dance! I looked at my debt ratio. In December, it was 88%. Yesterday, it was down to 74%! In only a few months. I can't tell you how stoked that made me. And I paid off the Litter Robot account! I got it in February and it is May and the thing is already paid off. And lastly, because this is a big deal - I'm under $20k left on my debt! I want to thank everyone who has helped me behind the scenes. Not for giving me money, but for cheering me on. There are the people in the Financial Awareness for Everyone group - who answers the hard questions you have about finance. And I mean the HARD questions. I also want to thank my friend and my accountability partner Anita. She has been a rock solid sounding board and cheerleader. I talk to her nearly every day even though we are thousands of miles apart. So, how am I doing this? First, I'm honest wi...

It is official - I have paid off the Credit One credit card. The total debt is down to $20,304.83. The next bill is for my Litter Robot, which is sitting pretty at $303.50. Actually, according to the website, I owe $290.78. The extra $12.72 is interest savings, which I will calculate at the end when I pay it off. Life is good! Barring any catastrophe, I should pay it off in the next 2 paychecks. Last weekend helped. I made over $50 in sales. So, this weekend I'm going to work hard to list more items and hopefully sell more. It is my goal this weekend to make it through all my lists. I don't try to do more because I'm tired and my anxiety is high because of work. Yes, the change in medication is helping. But, I'm still exhausted and usually in pain, either from a stiff neck or back or my ribs are hurting. So I try to take it easy dur...

Every day I am thankful I have a job. I'm not bragging. I know there are people out there who don't have jobs, who are furloughed and who are struggling to make ends meet. I've been unemployed - I know what it's like. It sucks. Especially when most of your unemployment check goes to health insurance or car payments. Everywhere except where you need it. So I thank every day that I have a job. And the fact that right now, my employer is paying me an extra $200 a paycheck because I have to be in the office, instead of working from home. It amounts to about $120 after taxes, but that money goes towards my debt. I'm happy to say that I will be paying off another credit card soon. I have the money for it, but apparently Credit One Bank wants to take the time to verify my bank account again for their online bill pay. Which means I have to wait for 2 small deposits into my account, then I have to enter those deposits into the website. So, hopefully Monday or Tuesday tha...
