Account paid off!

 I haven't updated in awhile. I've just been busy. I did pay off my Wayfair account! So, my living room furniture and my filing cabinet is paid off! So excited for that. Seriously - one more account down. So I'm down to $16,762.83 for the debt. I will be paid off by December 2023. And my snowball is $121.00

Granted - I pay a lot more than that towards my lowest debt. But, if something were to happen and I could no longer throw money at the debt, I would be paid off in December 2023. I have 12 months left to pay on my dental Care Credit, which is my next lowest debt. I have $1340.95 left to pay on that debt. Now, I currently have $21.94 sitting on hold from eBay sales for the week. As soon as the packages arrive to their buyers, that money will get released and I will put that money directly into the dental bill. 

Where do I sell? Facebook Marketplace, Facebook groups, eBay, Mercari, Etsy, Instagram, Amazon and Nextdoor. I'm selling my knit and crochet items, and I'm slowly making my way through the piles of stuff in the spare room. And I keep getting things from my mother. I kid you not. It seems every time I go to her house, I come home with more stuff to sell. And she knows what I'm doing. She's not the most tech savvy, so she's happy to help me out. She knows where the money is going. So I have her blessing to sell these things. At the end of August, I came home with her old stereo system. I have to do the research on it, but I might be able to sell for parts. She was a Longaberger consultant and she's giving me her baskets she no longer wants. 

I haven't gotten to the point where I need to source at garage sales or thrift stores. I'll still go and see if I can find those treasures, but all my money is going towards debt and bills. Once I have the debt eliminated, I might start using some of the cash I get for local Facebook sales and try to reinvest that in finds from garage sales. But the debt is the number one priority. And to get things out of my house. Trying to go through the spare room and get rid of that stuff first before I start bringing in more stuff. 

That's all I have for today. Was woken up by an offer on eBay, which I accepted. Just waiting for the payment to go through and I'll ship off some rhinestones to another crafter. Maybe this week I'll be able to shave off another month.

Oh wow, it's been awhile. So, catch up. I am currently under $21k for debt (yay) and I have $652 in my savings account. I have been using my savings account not as it is meant to be used - Not using it as a savings account per se, but as a supplement to my current checking account. Every penny of my checking account is being used for debt. If I need extras, I'm using my savings account. For example. I got paid on March 20. Every penny of that paycheck was spent for bills or put back into savings. I received $1,132.73. I paid my gas bill ($78.97), Car insurance ($64.88), Internet ($79.95), Kirby ($58.32) and cat food ($29.00). I also deducted the payments for the mortgage ($202.53 - the rest comes from my VA benefit check) and Hulu ($12.87). I put $250 in my grocery account and $25 in my savings account. Good morning and Happy Saturday! These weekends are very important to me. I have learned that I will not be working from home at all. My boss's boss's boss has decided that since we execute and sign documents in front of notaries on our team, and those notaries have to enter activities into our database, we cannot work from home and sign in front of a notary at a bank. Not that we would be able to anyway, with most branches closing the lobbies in this coronavirus pandemic. And I have been very busy executing assignments, so I get to go into the office every day.
